Reseda Discount Caregivers is a medical marijuana collective that operates within strict accordance of the regulations outlined in California Proposition 215. We are also proud to say that we are a true pre-I.C.O. (pre-Interim Control Order) dispensary that has been in operation since 2005. We take the local laws very seriously, and demand that each of our patients understand and respect these regulations as well. As a result, there are certain procedures that you can expect to adhere to when coming into RDC.
Before coming into RDC to purchase medication, you will need to make sure that you have two things with you. First, you will need to have a recommendation from a qualified physician that states that you are eligible to purchase medical marijuana in California. Also, make sure to bring in a valid State of California ID (such as a driver’s license), as it is required for identification purposes. There are absolutely no exceptions to these rules, so be sure to have both of these documents on hand whenever you visit us.
Upon your first visit to RDC, we will also require you to go through our patient intake process. This necessary process helps us ensure that we are providing the safest and most efficient care to all of our patients. This involves answering a short series of questions that will allow us to verify all of your information, and we’ll keep it on hand to expedite all of your future purchases. It also allows us to give you the most effective medication recommendations, based upon your individual condition or illness.
As a collective, we ask that each of our patients donate time each month to help with our day-to-day operations. This helps keep our costs to a minimum, which allows us to pass the savings to our patients. We also ask that our patients attend the annual collective meetings, as they are designed to help us serve each of our member’s better.
Again, there are absolutely no exceptions to these rules. We apologize for any inconvenience they may cause, however we take our civil responsibilities as a medical marijuana dispensary very seriously. If you have any questions regarding these policies before coming into RDC, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
